Bundesliga side Bayern Munich have struck a deal to sign Schalke midfielder Leon Goretzka, according to reports.
The 22-year-old has scored four goals from 11 Bundesliga appearances so far this campaign with Schalke sitting pretty in second place in the standings behind Bayern.
Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United have all been linked with Goretzka in the past but Marca claims that Bayern have agreed a deal to sign the Germany international.
The deal will reportedly go through on June 30 after Bayern won the race to sign the midfielder with Barcelona also thought to be serious contenders for his signature.
His performances for Germany at last summer’s Confederations Cup thrust him into the spotlight and he has continued his impressive displays for Schalke this campaign.
Goretzka has been compared to former Bayern Munich star Michael Ballack as he is said to have a similar playing style.
