Paper Talk: Liverpool plot new Salah deal; Spurs braced for Chelsea bid

Liverpool are set to try and tie Mo Salah down to a new deal, while Chelsea are set to bid for a Spurs star according to Sunday’s papers.

LIVERPOOL PLOT NEW SALAH DEAL

Liverpool are planning to offer star man Mohamed Salah a new deal to ward off potential suitors, according to a report.

The Sun on Sunday claims that the £90k-a-week that Salah currently gets does not put him among Liverpool’s top earners, and they want to change that.

The report states that the Anfield club are eager to avoid another situation like the one that saw Philippe Coutinho leave for Barcelona.

Liverpool could get up to four times the £34million they paid to Roma only last summer when they signed the Egypt international.

Liverpool want to get the new deal agreed before the World Cup in Russia this summer because they believe his stock could rise even higher.
