Euro Paper Talk: Juventus offer duo in bid to land £113m Man Utd pair

Juventus are proposing a double swap deal with Manchester United for two Old Trafford stars, while Chelsea, Arsenal and Man City want a Hamburg youngster, according to Friday’s European papers.

JUVE PROPOSE DOUBLE SWAP DEAL FOR MAN UTD DUO

Italian champions Juventus are reportedly proposing a double swap deal with Manchester United this summer.

It is no secret that the Serie A giants are keen on re-signing midfielder Paul Pogba, while United defender Matteo Darmian has also been on Juve’s radar for some time.

Indeed, Juventus are said to be in advanced negotiations to land the latter, but United are keen on left-back Alex Sandro and forward Mario Mandzukic – sparking talk of a double swap deal, according to Calciomercato (via Sky Sport).

Jose Mourinho is in the market for a new left-back as he prepares to part company with Luke Shaw, while Mandzukic would provide a good foil for Romelu Lukaku and has the ability to play in a deeper attacking role.

The Croatian, along with Gonzalo Higuain, is being tipped to leave this summer – if Juve get the right price for the experienced international hitmen.

Despite returning to form in the latter part of the season, Pogba remains an enigma at Old Trafford and it is thought that Mourinho would still be prepared to cash in on the France star if he can land a suitable replacement.
